are the tow behind harley rakes easy to use? I only ever used one on a bobcat and you can just look forward at what your doing.

Not bad , Ive used both and if your scaping alot you could use both . A tractor provided us with versitality , although we ocassionally use a skid steer
You have to be careful on running into stuff while looking back .

That Harley rake is an awsome attachment. I recently did a couple of seeding jobs and used a friend of mine to spread top soil with the Harley rake on his bobcat. I makes a graet looking seed bed and spreads the soil quick and even.

I'm looking at a L3130, 31 hp w/backhoe the dealer quoted $28900, seems a bit high but a nice tractor. 39 hp for 31500 Those $'s sound allright to you all?

must be the backhoe that is making it so high...
we looked at the 43hp kubota with front end loader and canopy for about $20K

Geez, tractors must be cheaper down that way. Thinking bout going with a used one, 1 or 2 years old, that dealer was way to slick for me!
