Kubota owners- L3830 or L3130?

Is that 8-10 hp difference very noticable? The 31 is a bit smaller, seems better for tight spots, but the size differ. is only inches. Does the hydro tranny really take away that much hp? Will be doing mucho stonework, backhoe, eventually get into brush hogging. So 30hp or 40hp? any tips much appreciated, seasons starting, time ta hussle!

The L3830, its a nice tractor, no complaints, moves boulders, glad I went with the 40 hp, need it!

yeah i decided to go with the 3830 it showed up today of course it is going to rain tomorrow :!)

i went with the 4330. la843 loader and 9' hoe. the 43 is got a beefier front axle for moving heavier loads up front. the 3130 is a dog, it is what they gae me for a loaner. mine is the hst tranny, and so was the 3130. but the 3130 will hardly pull its own weight. if you want a small tractor go with a 2910. got one of those as well, small but big moving power. just my 2 cents.
