Am I the only one that sees guys driving around with skid steers on trailers unsecured? What is the deal? That scares the S**t out of me. I have seen a skid steer laying dirty side up, on the side of the road with the owner standing there looking at it. I have been driving behind a guy whose Husky lawn tractor decided to bust through his tailgate and nose plant itself on the asphalt. And my personal favorite, seen a 58,000lb Caterpillar D7 come off a trailer after breaking four 3/8 binders chains. Just the other day guy I was behind (not for long I might add) was driving with a pallet of cinder block half shrink wrapped sitting on the back of a flat bed truck with no straps! Thanks I feel better now.

LOL. Saw a Komatsu in the ditch a few weeks back. Semi driver didn't know why it flipped off.
Where he was parked and where the Komatsu was in the ditch (in a harsh corner on the highway) seemed to say to me that the semi was travelling a tad too fast. He was parked about a 1/4 of a mile from the accident. His flat deck was pretty warped as well.

I see it all the time in my travels throughout Vancouver. For the five minutes it takes to chain it down why the hell are people so lazy? Can you imagine having a machine fly off the deck of the trailer and wiping out a car full of people?:( Chain your frikin machine down!

You would think that they would take the extra few minutes to do it right to protect there investment unless its most employees who don't give a s h i t cause its not theirs but also to not get a s s raped by DOT when they get stopped. A few weeks ago a guy driving a low boy with a excavator on it went under a overpass and guess what the arm was to high thing took out three steel I beams and the concrete bridge deck. They had to cut the arm off with a torch, Most likely going to have to replace the whole bridge and to think that guys insurance is going to have to pay for EVERYTHING.
