Been thinking of doing the same with my skid. What methods / materials did you use to complete this task. ie. degreaser, primer etc.

843 is a good machine.how much did you get nailed for the backhoe? got my 8 ft hoe used for 5000

sjjc, we gave the machine a good washing then sanded down all the areas we could get to. Primed it, then threw on some paint.

Mike, we'll put it this way.. we got the machine, gp bucket, 4in1 bucket, pallet forks, 911 backhoe 1' & 2' bucket, spare tire, rebuilt motor, heat, 3 lights, vinyl enclosed cab & door for $9500. Just needed a little tlc, and she makes for a good machine. :e)

must of had alot of hours ,but hours don't matter to much when your buying equipment like that.buying a truck or car with high miles is a no no,but a bobcat or some type of construction equipment with 2000 plus hours i consider new..lol
