Model year 2000 48" 18 hp Briggs Vanguard powered Wright Stander is for sale. I picked it up used this winter from the member here "Turfdude", and since then have had my average property size increase considerably on me. Consequently, i am looking to move up to a 60" stander. I paid $2500 this winter, and since then have put on a new gas tank, new recoil rope, and changed the hydro fluid/filters (at dealer). As of 4/22/04, this unit has 1750 hours. Unit runs very strong and cuts/stripes like a champ. Included is a jumbo gobler, an extra set of gator blades, and an extra blade belt. Im only looking for what i paid, $2500. Id consider driving part way to get this mower a new home. Pictures will be posted sometime this week. Email me with any questoins. :)

Ill post them to this thread as soon as I get it back from the dealer. Its getting a new compression release spring (i believe they said that was what it was... could be the compression release valve though.)

Just monday (April 3) i purchased a new 52" stander, so Im ready to move this one. This machine will make someone some serious dough, but you have to buy it first. ;)

more pics, last shot of hour meeter reads 1764.3 hrs. A mentor of mine at a large local company runs 5 wright standers with this same 18hp Briggs Vanguard says they see 3500 hours on theirs before they need rebuilds.

If I had the opportunity, I'd buy it from you.
Nice stripes.
Our Jacobsen Greens Kings IV have the Vanguards. Never have any problems with them. Good motor.

Ok, so the unit is now going to be resting until a new owner comes along to claim her. Total hours on unit now read ~1775. Hours are subject to change as it will be at my dealer for sale during this time as well.
Regarding anyone who wants to haggle price with this broke college student... Frst of all please dont cus a couple hundred bucks really does matter to me (about 6 weeks of meals for me at school, or look at it as one semesters text books, or a fraction of room fees that i pay for, yes all of it). Second, if you insist on haggling with me then delivery is 100% on you, meaning you come to my place to get it.
