Cat 216 parking brake keeps coming on

My 216's parking brake, the idiot lite< comes on after 5-10 min. any idea why? is it electrical?

Check or replace the lapbar sensor as well as the seat sensor. Lapbar sensor is located on the right side by the fuse panel (if yours has the panel), on half is located on the lapbar itself, and the other is located on the lapbar mount, and the seat sensor is located directly under the seat. You may have to flip up the cab to get to it, though.
