Has any one checked out John Deere's new product?
It is the HSD. or high speed dozer.

I don't think many people in our industry could purchase this machine. It looks like a
dozer, road grader, combine hand a three way and this is what came out. It's very cool John Deere came out with this. I figured Cat would be on the R&D side for something like this. Now they will have to be.
It almost looks like the tracks off the Case IH larger stieger series tractors.

There are a couple of const companies around here i could see using them. more cost effective to own 1 machine that can function as a dozer and use it as a tractor for a pull behind scraper.

This is J.D's second attempt at building a rubber tracked tractor/dozer. The first time around they ran afoul of patent rights owned by another company. They only built a few of the early machines before a lawsuit forced them to halt production. This machine looks about like the Case/IH tracked tractor.
Cat has built a high speed tractor for many years, however, they do not offer it with a dozer blade.

Nope, not something I would want. I would like to have an excavating company but that is WAY OVERKILL unless you're doing huge highway or commercial projects.
FYI my name is spelled Jared.
