View Full Version : Moving Trailers with tractor bucket ????

Anyone got any ideas on how to move a ball hitch trailer with a tractor bucket... Without putting a hole in the bucket and dropping in a Receiver ball...
I saw this up in Louisville last year. Anyone else using them ??? Or do you have a better setup. I have torn up two trailer hitches trying to move them around my lot....

I usually pinch the safety chains in the 4 in 1 bucket and move it with that

lol,click on the link he postedConcrete guys next to me have a set of pallet fork and we made a sleave with a ball on it you slip over one of the forks. Had to blow a hole through the forks to put a pin in it. Works great for moving trailers, except it's a 2 5/16 ball

i hook the safety chains onto my bobcat bucket where the foot steps are works great

Concrete guys next to me have a set of pallet fork and we made a sleave with a ball on it you slip over one of the forks. Had to blow a hole through the forks to put a pin in it. Works great for moving trailers, except it's a 2 5/16 ball We used to do the same thing almost, only burn the hole in one fork and just put the ball in it and the nut underneath and tighten by hand. when done remove the ball.
