V.92 modem

I am told that the V.92 modem has the capability of letting the person on line to answer the phone. Does any one on here know about this? How to set it, etc.?

Depends on the brand, and if modem comes/came with correct software to get the job done the way you want it to. Some cancel one job to do the other, depending on with priority you set up in preferences.
Best bet is to read all the fine print in owners book, or contact the mfg via their site.
