The ability to RIP.

Saw this parked by the highway the other day. Imagine, this 181,000 pound D11R headed to Brazil and it’s sitting in a rail-yard in Tulsa.

My truck is just under 40 feet long and this big cat is sitting on a flat-car just inches away. The operating weight of these is 230,000 pounds (115 tons), so I guess the push-bar and blade weigh in at 35 tons alone!!! Would that be big enough for ya???

Biggest I got to run was a D6, that's a monster compared to it.

Here's a pic with the push-bar and blade with a kid next to it. I'm 6'3" and my head would just come up the bottom of that high-drive sprocket.

I used to work in pipeline construction and drove large pipelayer's (sideboom's) up to the 583, which is built off the D8 tractor. I "played" with a D8 a few times. Everyone should feel that power under them once in their life!

yea ive messed with a D8R a while back........my uncle has a TD-15E Dresser thats equal to a D6 that ive ran all the time. A guy here in town has a D11R just to use on his horse farm and with the full blade and ripper its absolutely massive.

thats piss change to this guy..........he went and bought a crane, a real crane that is, just for his grandson to be able to play with it because he likes them. And the grandson is 8 years old.

But you should see this guy's toy fleet, several CAT track hoes, grader pans, the d11 dozer, a d6 dozer, and 10 john deere tractors ranging from the 4100 series up the the 9500 8 wheeled series.

With MacAnich company being locally in iowa, they get alot of the bigger dozers and dump trucks that are bigger than semis. They are kinda cool to watch move the dirt

Yeah, my cousin's husband works at McAninch in Des Moines. I've seen the shop where the put all the stuff. MASSIVE is all I have to say. I've sat in one of those D11R's...very big.

Mr. McAninch owns a house on 110 acres with 3 10 acres man made lakes....
