Just a suggestion to all, keep your virus definitions and if you use any widows flavor machine, the security patches up to date.

In the last 4 days this is the score
nort. anti virus 48 virus attachments 0

NEVER, NEVER, open an attachment from anybody unless you're already expecting the attachment from somebody.

It's going to be an interesting day for 2 companies, microsoft of redmond washington and sco of Salt Lake City Utah.

The latest strains that have been going around, basicly if your machine is infected, will bombard these compaines servers(denial of service attatck) with email on Feb 2, 2004. Going to be very intersting if these companies can come up with a patch to fix the problem.

For those with dishnetwork satilite, check out Tech Tv on 191. They have been talking about this virus quite a bit this morining

Your going to have to look but yes it's free to a degree. Most sites give you the software, but put some kind of condition, such as making you look at banner ads

But to be honest, heck $49 bucks isn't that much to protect yourself. Another down side with the free ones is some of them put spy-ware/tracking software without you knowing it.

Do a search on google for free anti-virus software.

Yep wish I had installed one sooner. Last year I got a nasty little bug. Well lets just say it was a real pain to get back up and running. Since then Norton has been on the job.
